The UK series spares Ferrari’s UK clients from the need for international travel and the requirement for an international race licence.
Eight races will be held in 2019 with each race weekend having two races, with a free practice and qualifying on Friday. This series is open to all the clients in the UK who own a Ferrari 488 Challenge race car.
UK is the second biggest market in terms of sales for Ferrari. Mike Hawthorn, the first Briton to win an F1 title 60 years ago this year, was a former driver for Ferrari and won the championship with them.
The race dates are:
25 April - Brands Hatch – Prologue and Test
18-19 May - Brands Hatch - Race 1 & Race 2
22-23 June – Snetterton - Race 3 & Race 4
20-21 July – Croft - Race 5 & Race 6
21-22 Sept – Silverstone - Race 7 & Race 8
